I'm developing a set of instructions to effortlessly guide a group into delightful improvised collaborative music-making, especially aimed at people who think they are "not musical" / "bad at music", or anyone whose creativity is inhibited by excessive self criticism

My job is to be a musician and make music and do what is authentic to me and reflect my inner world in the most personal way possible. In songwriting, the most personal is the most universal. It's about using my own emotions as a connective tool.

When we chant and sing, we tune the frequencies of sound and words towards something beautiful, we breathe air into the alchemy of our bodies and transform it into song. We enchant the vibrations running through us with meaning, wonder and mystery.
