in particular, 1) various forms of racism and 2) the cycles of surgery, etc. not only as trends change but as people age and so does the sh*t floating around inside of them: it moves, it sags, it degrades, it bulges and your face takes on a totally new (unnatural) shape only to be “fixed” with more work
