The Solidarity Economy

The Solidarity Economy

The Solidarity Economy encompasses a wide range of businesses and organizational models that form with people coming together to prioritize the meeting of their needs with resources. This includes cooperatives, community currencies, community land trusts, credit unions, and other DIY forms of community-led self sufficiency. Solidarity economics prioritize collective well-being rather than financial return or growth.
