I know people who aren’t tech savvy, or reading obscure literary titles. I’m known among my friends as the weirdo. But I am a bridge to people who are momentarily ignorant until I bring it to their attention.

I’m not one of the prolific intellectuals of the world. (just writing this out “loud” made me gasp). But I seem to be in a position of sharing high level topics of discussion, news and stuff to people not in the know.

So what does that make me? I think I’m a fairly smart guy but I’m not the smartest. I can even be one of the dumbest on occassion. Where do I stand? Am I an intellect? I don’t think so.

There’s a lot I know, there’s a lot, a lot more that I don’t know. but because of my current position economical, social, age etc,. I am just not the brightest out there on any one topic. But I do know a little about many of them. In this sense I’m not poor. I have access to information and knowledge that many in part of the world don’t really bother or care to know about.

They feel like they’re always a few years behind me. I didn’t understand this before but now it’s starting to become very obvious. There was a reason I was the weird kid in school. There was a reason I thought everyone else was the weird kid.

I am part of the knowledge or intellectual middle class of society.
