They are dependent upon adults for their survival and naturally feel inferior. This sense of inferiority gives them a hunger to learn. Through learning, they can bridge the gap and not feel so helpless.

We have to learn how to read to be better leaders, better people, better citizens. We must learn how to read for our own benefit—and so that we might have aid to offer to a friend in pain, or a soul in crisis. Seneca’s point was that only knowledge that does us good is worth knowing. Everything else is trivia.

Cold emails are a great way to land a job.
Here's what I've learned:
∙ Email the CEO directly.
∙ Show that you're unique.
∙ Be specific.
∙ Make a bold request.
∙ Have a clear call-to-action.
∙ Don't be humble. This isn't the time to be modest.
