Memory
Failing to sustain attention that is needed to engage with our surroundings, have led to a loss of ability to be articulative and that our world has failed to expand to due to limited use of language, words and perspectives.
i.e. reduced attention span → eradicate the need and want for descriptive language → failing to articulate → narrative
We’re too busy saving and documenting, relying on external sources, yet little remains in our memory.

Stories help us move forward in life by learning lessons from the past and projecting hope onto the future.
Failing to engage our memory → loss of identity.
Our identity is built from lived experiences (quality) - if we stop actively remembering / reflecting those choices that we made or lived moments → we fail to get hold of those data points → fail to form a coherent / comprehensive sense of self.
As human beings, we are already creators by nature.
We breathe form into things that didn’t exist before - whether it is a conversation or to write a note to a friend.
We give meanings to occurrences and happenings based on our past experiences, internalised values and memories to make sense of the world and build our version of reality.
