Let’s level up these trade schools to put climate action in the curriculum. I went to a vocational school when I was in high school. I loved it. Inverting in vocational classes and job will be key in transitioning away from extractive industries towards regenerative ones.
Two words that come to mind, “unintended consequences”. Are we willing to go down a path of uncertainty when we could use our talents, funding, and energy into what we know works? Are we that fucked that we need to consider altering the atmosphere even more?
What’s the opposite of “fake news”? What can people do/create that squashes “fake news” at its core so that it doesn’t even become part of the conversation?
Yes. We need more humor in this space. What lessons can we learn from The Daily Show and Late Night and apply towards the hards conversations we are having and need to have when it comes down to our climate breakdown?

The AI boom has taken off at a awkward time for the fight against climate change. Global temperatures are already rising much faster than scientists expected. And now, AI and the International Energy Agency has said AI is contributing to a massive increase in power demand, which itself is contributing to an increase in emissions because the problem is, we haven't decarbonized our grids yet.
How can designers incorporate the concept of "more-than-human rights" (8:29) into their design process, ensuring that their creations respect and account for the needs and rights of non-human entities?
