The core question at the heart of our exploration at Seed Club is how do you harness our newfound ability to convert cultural and social capital into financial capital in productive and sustainable ways? How do you use the attention and cultural aggregation powers of memecoins to actually serve people in more expansive ways than just number go up?

Bitcoin is special. It was the first, and it’s still the most decentralized, credibly neutral, predictable, and reliable network. No other network can match its story, and perhaps no other will match these features.
Also, unlike most of its peers here, BTC makes no attempt to be a productive capital asset. Now, that may sound like a weakness at firs... See more

BTC has a strong case for being digital gold – a "pet rock" that is highly valuable but static. I believe ETH has a more dynamic future as a censorship-resistant, programmable store of value underpinning a much larger digital economy by providing permissionless settlement, DA, and execution.

Tech Flywheel . They’ve built an open source framework for launching agents, called Eliza, that many of the top sentient coins are building on top of and contributing to. It’s becoming a no brainer tech stack for people wanting to build crypto agents which is quickly becoming everybody. They also have a “standard deal” where if you build on Eliza a... See more

Which is why the incumbent generally converts that economic power to military dominance. When faced with a challenger, the up and coming competitor must unseat and surpass both the economic and militar... See more

Crypto is designed to break down barriers, allowing the best money to rise to the top. We see this behavior in stablecoins, where >99% of stablecoins are US dollars. There isn’t a whole lot of organic demand for fiat currency #109. Many people are artificially restricted from holding dollars offchain, which is a major reason for the success ... See more

This is the price of decentralization. This investor would need to keep paying these decentralized and independent operators if that’s what’s required to keep the REV coming in. In reality, this is a very difficult number to assess. What is the marginal value provided by additional network operators vs. the marginal cost added, and when does that s... See more

Which means we’re going to have high interest rates, but higher inflation, negative real yields, but higher nominal yields and will print the difference.

Next, we will strip out inflation, giving us network REV (Real Economic Value):
REV = Network Fees + MEV Tips
REV excludes issuance, as that is not real value generated.
