Ideas I want to write about

Ritual prevents the ordinary from dissolving into invisibility. If you light a candle at dinner, the meal becomes an event. If you walk at the same time each day, it becomes more than exercise. Anthropologists will tell you that rituals function as technologies of attention: certain ordinary acts aren’t trivial, they’re the architecture of meaning.

AI can produce infinite amounts of content; quantity is its game. Quality, intention, taste, originality, vision—that’s where we come in.

The journal is not so much a way of diarizing one’s life, but a portable studio, a place where you can hang out , with your imagination, your intuition, your inspiration.

as an artist, I think I’ll learn how to use new magic — AI tools — by thinking of it as a new toy/tool, rather than feeling threatened or replaced by it (which I don’t). AI is changing the world, with or without me. And my prediction (and hope) is this:

The more that new magic infiltrates the world, the more special old magic will be.
