Look for people who have lots of great questions. Smart people are the ones who ask the most thoughtful questions, as opposed to thinking they have all the answers. Great questions are a much better indicator of future success than great answers.
We are so obsessed with seeing if AI can do the things we do, but the real potential is things humans are in capable of. What can’t you do that is now possible? 
I’m no longer content to ask, “What do you think about X?” Instead, I ask, “How did you come to believe X?”
