Future of User Interfaces

Ladies & gentlemen, I’d like to introduce you to @dupedotcom I worked closely with @ghoshal on the concept + design of this tool to find the best price for any furniture item. It’s not perfect yet—but it will eventually intercept every transaction on the internet.

A futuristic and unrealistic concept interface: the computer waits on the human instead of the human waiting on the computer.

Put another way, will humans will always want to do things like scroll Instagram, but perhaps won't ever want to open TurboTax/Docusign/Concur/Foursquare/etc. again?

tone of voice (and personality?) is the UI of the natural language / AI-agent era, and it's a pretty unexplored spectrum of possibilities at this point.
