Focus on connecting the dots. Most social platforms - be it Stumbleupon (now Mix), Cosmos, Tumblr, etc- focus on "inspiring" by making us jump from stimulus to stimulus. What I'm really interested in is meaning-making platforms that help us engage with stimulus to layer on new thoughts, comments, ideas. Kind of what "quote retweet" did for Twitter.
"Oops, something went wrong." should say what went wrong so that you could adjust and continue using the app. Example: when you hit the limit of characters typing text, or size limit uploading an image.

Possible solution for dead links. HTML Only and Single File appears to serve the purpose.
