it was because i became devoted to honoring the promises i made to myself, and prioritized feeling good from the inside out. because at the end of the day, baddie- you cannot hate yourself into a version of you that you love. through embracing devotion for that version of myself who desperately wanted feel like herself again

Devotion is a choice
she says devotion isn’t sexy, I disagree. I think it is sexy, and not just in the context of romantic relationships, which is the focus of her piece. i find my partner incredibly sexy when i see his devotion to me and to his passions and people. and in the context of this episode, devotion sounds a whole lot sexier than discipline.
