Have you heard the new coded language to describe a woman who is too direct?
People will say a woman is “in her masculine energy” when she's speaking up, being vocal, sharing a perspective, or even holding an opinion.
As a straight-forward woman, I have definitely had this insult hurled my way.
And I reply to this insult every single time:

How can you train on equity at work?
The CEO of SHRM, Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., SHRM-SCP, says that "DE&I programs, in their current form, simply aren't working."
His - or SHRM's - answer to that is to remove Equity from the DE&I acronym, and focus on I&D - Inclusion & Diversity.
That's one approach - another would have been to provide tools to emphasize Equity at work, and make it practical.
I put this chart together in 4 and a half minutes. If SHRM had instead asked its members for their ideas (and paid them for them, instead of paying their internal team/consultants to change up an acronym), I have no doubt they could have created resources to share among their members that would have had a much better response, and actual positive actions in the workplace.
