i think everyone that crosses through your life has a purpose and so here there are two very ambitious people who connect through their passions, fuel each other with motivation and inspiration to achieve their dreams and become successful but both of their destinations do not intertwine they were just journey channels.

i was talking to a friend and he was like how is such a sad movie as La La Land so comforting for you and I think the above explains it all - my mom is a Virgo and has always been very career-driven (both of my parents really) and me as a rising Capricorn (i can keep astrology out of this) have always put success and my career a top priority more

There’s something about La La Land, as well as Sally Rooney's books, that's so raw and real. It's life love because it’s filled with true emotion, and the happy ending is not guaranteed. It’s “sad” but more relatable. truly realistic.

(future note - I’ve realized I actually don’t love Sally Rooney books)
