This shift will happen if enough of us come to believe that our personal awakening makes a difference, and we act accordingly. Individually, one by one, we must break the spell that has us thinking it doesn’t matter what we do. It matters absolutely what we do.

To lead profound change is to shift the inner place from which a system operates. This can be done only collaboratively, using what I have called a “social technology” throughout this book.

A systems approach helps shift us from formulaic, mechanical responses to issues to fluid responses that see the interconnected and constantly changing elements that keep emerging.
