I long for the physical proximity of other artists who create with intention. I appreciate anyone who creates with their hands but I want to be surrounded by those who see what they do as a craft and a process of being, who strike that balance between taking their craft seriously and not taking themselves so seriously. I want to know what they read, where they went on the river, what scrap of magazine caught their love and sparked their inspiration.
