what does it mean to “handle your feelings about the task” it means you recognize and acknowledge them and this contact and acceptance allows you to begin where you otherwise would have hesitated or avoided the problem due to the aforementioned feelings. it doesnt mean “fix” them
Notice the feeling, recognize it for what it is, take a deep breath, and shift your energies to that which needs doing.
