A surprisingly interesting (and free!) museum, showcasing Japanese advertising over the centuries. From Kimono ladies selling beer to retro packaging, the museum is a fascinating change from the usual museums in Tokyo. FREE

Stumbled across this rare book store in Kyoto- there seems to be plenty of shops like this around the area, but this one stuck out to us. Their collection of wood block prints were incredible. So much range and at really great prices. 2000 yen for the piece I purchased ~ I show it in the video ☺️ going to get it framed when I’m back in Aus. If anyone knows of any other great print and poster spots in Kyoto, please please share! I’m still on the lookout for something more modern and A1 sized. 🧐 (an archived exhibition poster maybe?) 🫰🏼Location: Kikuo Shoten, Kyoto
