Decentralization is an important substrate, the real pull is the increase in utility and value when an asset comes onchain turns into a money lego. Whether an asset is blockchain-native or a real-world asset will matter less and less. Eventually most ledgers will move onto blockchains, but that will take time and there is tons of value to be created in the meantime.
The next crypto cycle will be the convergence of DeFi & fintech, it’s still early but it’s not a combo that will be detected by bear markets.
