It took me 15 years to really grasp this ... “We attract what we are, not what we want.” Committing to this mindset has been a complete game changer for me and my biz over the last year. For example… In the very small amount of “marketing” that I do, I’ve noticed a few things: When I take risks, I attract people who also take risks. When I present big ideas, I attract clients who want more big ideas. When I share a unique opinion about something, I attract others who share that opinion. When I follow my intuition, I attract people who follow theirs too. Before you can have the thing you want, you need to become the type of person who is willing to do what it takes to have it. Life is short… Instead of dreaming about it, become it 😀
In the end, it’s about what you want to be, not what you want to have. To have something (a finished recording, a business, or millions of dollars) is the means, not the end. To be something (a good singer, a skilled entrepreneur, or just plain happy) is the real point.

Amanda came to this conclusion: “I realized that the people who were having a big impact—which is what I wanted to do—naturally became wealthy. I started looking and noticing the clues. A common denominator was that they were following a mighty quest to become a better person.”
