In summary, society has some destructive notions about women. We are not treated as equals at home or at work. We are treated as a dumping ground for all the work that men are taught not to do. And that absolutely includes systemic sexism built into our politics, our laws, and our institutions. And yet, women are complicit.
To be a woman in the working world means to have to work twice as hard and be twice as good, simply to be viewed on par with a man at her same level.

now? Number of women on the board, and maybe a little bit of diversity within the C-suite. That is not my question. I’m happy to have that data and those are important issues, but they’re so far from answering the question: is this an intellectually robust environment where the company is actually able to adapt to changing circumstances over time?
