I believe that 2020 will be known for two abstractions in consumer internet:

What will also become clear over time is that while those taking data shortcuts enjoyed a short term advantage, open, artist led model networks will lap non artist led model orgs in terms of ideas and vision on where to take them
When models converge on quality, it'll be ideas that distinguish them.
