If your spiritual practice is not deepening your honesty, making you braver in relationship, bringing you closer to the beautiful mess of real human connection, it's not helping you
Chasing holiness, righteousness and bliss will keep you shallow
It doesn’t matter how many books you’ve read, how many lectures you’ve attended or how long you’ve been in therapy. If you don’t have a daily prayer and meditation practice, you’re not furthering your faith. Start by asking yourself the question, “Did I pray and meditate today?” It’s not about what you did yesterday or what you plan to do tomorrow.
