Your job is to find out what they really, really want.

The real magic is in whether you are willing to help your clients dive deeper than they have ever gone into the question: What do you really, really, really, really want?

“Is this something you would like to do?”

And then we went deeper. What else? What else? What else? (I am like a dog with a bone with this simple question—and I won’t let go until I see the sparkle in their eyes.)

But I also know that I’ve been a successful coach and a successful leader because I never stop learning. I fail regularly but I pick myself up, again, and again and again. I make small acts of courage a daily habit. I believe that my vulnerability is a superpower. And I am committed to making a real difference in the world.
