Happiness is not a feature of any object. It is a subjective feeling.

"For one who sees the Essence, where is the sorrow, where is the delusion''?

Thus errors could be of either commission or omission: the things that we did and the things we didn't do.

Any state can be called happiness. All it requires is that the agitations increase and then subside.

Unhappiness can be tackled by the rehabilitation of the mind and intellect. Here we study improving the quality of the mind with unselfishness.

The experience of happiness depends on the nature of the agitation that came before it.

Delusion: The desire, and its resultant emotions, often spin out of control resulting in us losing all sense and sensibility.

Desire is the creator of agitations. It is that unseen determiner, the single and sole wrecker of our happiness. But, we are convinced that having more amenities and facilities, more of this or that would solve our problem of sorrow.

Happiness then is a habit, not an acquisition. It is not the gaining of anything in particular, except perhaps the knowledge of living.
