Being objective is being able to perceive how another person feels from where he is. Not how I feel from where I am.

The sensible way of conducting our lives is to steadily increase wisdom and intelligently satisfy desires.

"For one who sees the Essence, where is the sorrow, where is the delusion''?

Desires warp our thinking. And consequently, the quality of our actions deteriorates.

Delusion: The desire, and its resultant emotions, often spin out of control resulting in us losing all sense and sensibility.

Fear: Desire makes us fearful of losing what we have acquired and we experience insecurity.

Envy: And what happens if someone has more than we have?

Thus, our true estimation of wealth is not shown by what we claim, but by how we treat those who have less than us.

Arrogance: Desire can also shapeshift as arrogance. We display hideously arrogant faces towards those who have less.
