The Future of Travel. Is there one?

The consensus is that people are traveling differently — and that different people are traveling. More road trips and weekend trips; far less business travel. And so the many different moving pieces of the travel industry, from airlines to luggage companies, are iterating.

People used to choose the destination first. But now, for many, the home is the destination. People seem a bit more agnostic about where and when they’re traveling as long as they can find a big place with space to stay with family and friends.

Wellness-driven travel and tourism has significantly outpaced the growth of the broader tourism market (growing to nearly $600b in total value), and with younger generations spending more on experiences than physical items, this growth will only continue.
