Existing crypto wallets like MetaMask have been built to process and track transactions. Increasingly, however, wallets serve as a place to track digital goods and experiences – becoming an extension of identity. That may benefit newcomers like Genesis. 

If decentralized identity is the future of the web, then the contributions that you accumulate in your crypto wallet — the articles you write, the content you curate, or the things you buy — will become very important.

And pay attention to the wallet. The wallet is more than a place for digital money. It's a foundation of identity. It will become an important connection to authenticated media experiences.
