Drink the ooze then understand
Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him. — Psalm 34:8
There’s an intentional order in that line.
First you taste — then you see.
Which is counter to how we often live. We want to see first, to understand, to weigh the facts, to be sure.
But the Psalmist flips it:
