Please remember, it’s not how we start this race that’s important, but how we finish it. Two passages that give great hope and strength along these lines are: Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. (Jude 24) He will keep you strong to the

If we would approach God’s Word, His wisdom, divine counsel, and holy fear with this same resolve, we would be most blessed. We are crying out for what will never perish; it’s God’s treasure. He has not hidden it from us, but for us. He’s cheering us on to find it and rejoices when we do. He also celebrates when we experience its rewards. It’s my

We simply need to ask our heavenly Father.

I had never put this together, but in Scripture we are told of Jesus: The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and [the Spirit of] understanding, the Spirit of counsel and [the Spirit of might], the Spirit of knowledge and of the [Spirit of the] fear of the LORD. His

The Lord spoke to me more than thirty years ago that the final move of God in this age would emphasize holy fear. The great benefit of this awakening would be the fulfillment of the single description in Scripture of the bride Jesus is returning for. She’s not a “relevant” church, although relevance is important in reaching the lost. She’s not a

The fear of the Lord rewards us in so many ways: desires fulfilled (see Psalm 145:19), faithful friends (Psalm 119:63, 74, 79), healing for our bodies (Proverbs 3:7–8), identity (Psalm 60:4), and the direction in life so many are longing for. Who are those who fear the Lord? He will show them the path they should choose. They will live in
