We’ll focus on exploring story in literature – both classics and contemporary – because I believe written storytelling is the foundation for nearly every medium. Together, we’ll explore topics like:
- Building narrative tension without exhausting readers
- How great stories both capture and keep attention
- Revealing character through choice, not descriptio

That’s what storytelling feels like to me. We gather techniques and ideas, not to abide by rules, but to use as starting points. Ingredients in a recipe. Sometimes they fit perfectly. Other times, they don’t. That’s okay. The act of testing them sets the process in motion, which then lets you play the music
