In healing yourself, look carefully at everything that has held you apart from your full self and from others. This is where emotional blockages and old judgments are held, and this is where denial hides.

There are many judgments against the self here. One prominent example is: I cannot trust myself to manage my life. Release of this judgment does not mean that you must know everything yourself. Being told what to do by an outer voice of “authority” is different than seeking helpful advice and arriving at decisions about how to proceed.

The fact of the matter is that when you have alignment, initially with your intent to heal and, then, with your full self, what you want and what you need are the same thing.

Recognizing your own denials is the first step. Acknowledge every thought and feeling you would otherwise push away or ignore. If the children’s behavior doesn’t make sense to you as the parent and they are not harming anyone, support them and let them learn. Protect them while they are learning. This is Right Use of Will because you are not requiring them to see everything your way, but are letting them learn from their own experiences.
