Blogs can be great writing platforms with all kinds of widgets, bells, and whistles, but the absolute best addition to any blog is people who return for the value of the content and the connections you provide.
Of all the social technologies available, Twitter is probably the easiest to write off as a toy rather than a tool. The reality is, however, that Twitter is far more useful than most people realize—especially for the purposes of spreading the gospel.
If sinners will be damned, at least let them leap to hell over our bodies. And if they perish, let them perish with our arms about their knees, imploring them to stay. If hell must be filled, at least let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go unwarned and unprayed for.
Paul said, “Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you” (Eph. 4:31–32).
While Adam and Eve were hiding, God was approaching, seeking, and searching. While humanity drew back from its Creator, He put on human flesh and invaded the world in the form of His Son, Jesus, to seek and save that which was lost. God is all about the business of reconciliation.

When we tune into the lives of the people around us, we have the opportunity for real influence.
When criticism and disagreement come, even online, we should practice the discipline of not having to have the last word.
