How is the knowledge that is needed to help keep a thread alive, as this world comes to an end and a new one comes into being—how is that going to stay alive? It’s going to be through what is held within the human being and community. Human beings in relationship with other human beings

When these bonds are created—these ties are there, this relationship is present—you are then rooted in something that is rooted in place, and it brings us from observing Earth Time to participating in Earth Time. Once we are in relationship, we are participating; when we are trying to create a relationship, we are still the observer.
