Dear u/nikivi (and other Digital Gardeners),
My name is Johnson and I am a complete beginner to digital gardening. I have heard about the concept for a little while now but have only started paying more attention to it as I am drawing closer to starting a personal website of my own. I have browsed through the numerous gardens out there include a lot of gardens from this subreddit (you guys are amazing!). I personally found those with a Wiki folder style (much like u/nikivi's) to be most appealing for me.

My question is whether I should try to learn GitHub in order to build a knowledge system or should I pick another service with readily available templates as a beginner? The website I am trying to build for myself would preferably include a blog and an e-commerce store as well which makes things complicated I think. I am really excited to start building my own digital garden and join the movement of people sharing their knowledge publically, so any help and resources would be tremendously helpful!

Lots of thanks in advance :))

0xshapeshifter.devA digital garden is a framework for speculation around how online space can be designed from the imagination of gardens. Here, the values of gardens, pluralism, interdependence, sustainability, adaptation, and discovery
are centered in the design process of technosocial spaces.

The container that digital gardens are held in is a commitment to sustainability, pluralism, and cyclical growth. It entails adaptation and a culture of learning.
