This is the work of poetry – of the Bard. To go beyond. To travel. To bring back.

There are so many facets of poetry which work together to create impact and I will only have the chance to work through the main ones here. There are plenty of books available on this subject, my favourite being The Ode Less Travelled by Stephen Fry which develops a practical approach, getting the reader to write elements of poetry as they develop.
