Notes on The Best Interface is No Interface

If I was to sit down today and redesign Live Nation, or Fender, or any of the thousand band websites I did, the user interface would just be an empty text box asking:

“What can I do for you?”

I want the computer-human interface to be an empowering and positive experience—to minimize the interruption, annoyance, and distraction of our so-called smartphones and glass-faced tablets.

“one of my biggest learnings as a designer or technologist is—making something easy to use doesn’t mean it’s good for humanity.”
