Our interest-based nervous system can cause us to be habitually distracted. Our challenges with time horizons and “now and not now” can cause us to develop habits around procrastination. To overcome these ADHD-driven habits, we will have to develop new behaviors and new habits. That presents its own challenge to the ADHD brain.
