Cringe is The New Cool
Saved by Shachaf Rodberg and
Not giving a fuck if you look cringe is a superpower for the great online game. Like Peter Parker getting bit by a spider, I had my superhero moment with the druggie days. And I’m glad it happened. But you don’t need to go down that path to realize this: internet embarrassment isn’t that bad. Stop living in fear of being called cringe. The fear is worse than it actually happening. You get over it. You learn to laugh about it. And it makes you stronger person and a better creator.

I learned that the things you find the most embarrassing about yourself are the very things the public will love you for.
Notice I didn’t say our goal was to stop the blushing. Instead of being afraid to turn red, Jake said to his blushing, “Bring it on.” It was time to bust the myth and discover not only do most people not notice, but also noticing doesn’t necessarily equal judging.
These moments may be cringe worthy, but they’re inescapable, plus they make for a good story and a laugh later.
