As an example: my book, nothing about it sucked. There was no pain. Sometimes I would get stuck on a word or paragraph, but I would just take a break or return to it later. At no point did I ever push through a metaphorical wall or lock myself in a cabin in the woods and then self-coerce myself to finish it.
