Fear hardens.

Fearlessness softens.

This is why service, seva , dissolves fear. When the self is spent in service, fear starves. Fear cannot survive where “me first” has died.

You are fearless not because you are strong, but because you are not separate.

Guru Nanak laughed at kings not because he lacked power, but because he had discovered the one thing kings cannot threaten. The One who was never born and never dies.

Once remembered, fear becomes informational at best.

They knew the secret. Fear is a side-effect of forgetting Oneness .

Nirbhau does not mean the body will not tremble. It means trembling is no longer interpreted as danger. The lion may roar, the knees may shake, but awareness does not contract.

This is why Sikh courage looks joyful. Laughing saints. Dancing warriors. Men and women who walk into history with music instead of armour.

If there is only One, who exactly is attacking whom?

Because courage still believes fear is real and must be wrestled. Nirbhau simply notices that fear has no independent existence. It is a rumour started by separation.
