there is a higher and a lower way of perceiving and acting in every circumstance of life. One way leads to cynicism and a closing off of possibility, and the other way leads to higher faith and love and a more fruitful outcome. To “believe all things” means to orient yourself toward the highest possible outcome and strive for its actualization.

And when I’m tempted into fear, may I be guided back to loving thought: that love might be my experience, and love might be my power, and love might be my happiness and peace, in every single moment of my day.

Practice the Holy Instant and pray to learn through the teacher of love over the teacher of fear.

We need practices that open us to this grace, this work of God. God is love, and therefore God can be trusted. In silence, God will do for us what we cannot do for ourselves. So why are we afraid? Just be. Let go. Give in to the silence. Release the lies, the addictions, the temptations that keep you masked in your illusions.

Now imagine the people you would like to work with: people you would love to collaborate with or work for. Know that they may or may not be the actual ones who are meant to be on your path in life; they may simply represent an image of the kinds of people who are doing the kinds of projects you yearn to be part of.
