One should strive to love, never to be loved. It's impossible to get love.

Another word used to describe the opposite of love is disapproval. If you're disapproving of anyone or anything, the negative, disapproving energy is in you. By long practiced habit, you've gotten the idea that disapproving of yourself or others is Ok, that it does something for you. Look close and you'll see it runs you into the ditch.

When you're loving there's no self sacrifice, no renunciation of your own interests in favor of the interests of others. We dorit hurt ourselves when we love everyone. That's what the world thinks. But that isri t the love we're talking about.

So, now you have a decision to make. I'm going to be positive and send approval to this person or I'm going to disapprove of them and get nowhere fast.

Think of somebody you're disapproving of. Now when you're disapproving of others, you're causing yourself lots of negativity. See if you can figure out how to have a relationship with somebody you're not getting along with. Ask your friend your mind if it knows how to do it. It doesn't know. Acceptance is another good definition of love. When you love people, you accept them they way they are.
