Forgiveness is not easy, and it doesn’t always turn out as planned, but it’s always the right thing to do.

When we choose to forgive others, however, it releases our anger and allows a deep wound to heal. Bearing a grudge keeps the wound open, and although we don’t always realize it, we are the ones who are harmed, rather than those who harmed us.

In addition to having do goals, it’s critical to define the values that will drive our lives and our leadership behavior. These are what Andy calls our be goals.
