Ever since I've been writing a newsletter, tech regulation has been something that happens primarily in Europe. Thanks to a coordinated campaign by the tech industry and US officials, that period may be coming to an end. Not every dimension of the Brussels effect was positive. But I suspect whatever replaces it may be significantly worse.
