I I really think that creativity is going to become a lot more important and surprise and personality and originality like

that's the premium that will'll be placed on that is going to like change dramatically in the coming years and so whatever mindset that I carried around like quantity is is so not going to serve me that that I am I I find that a

treat things uh like a river and not a bucket

I think that so much of what I've sort of come to to believe is that you can be and participate in the world but keep a distance from it and that having a a garden something that you're growing a plot of land that is your own that reflects your intentions is a very powerful antidote uh to this um to the chaos um of the of the external um um

world

I think productivity is really a race to the bottom um it's I think that the that a lot has been said about how humans uh or machines are trying to be more human but I think less has been said about how humans have for decades uh been trained to be machines

and we have a lot of unlearning to do because if we focus on efficiency and optimization and

nurturing my idea Library happened in tools that were single player and the feeling of laboring away in these tools that were you know that that nobody would ever see that my children wouldn't get to see that weren't able to kind of give a a Serendipity or a useful Trail to somebody else wouldn't collide with other people's brains or thoughts um th

you can't just collect information to feel creatively and

intellectually alive you need to build a relationship with your gut you need to understand what is worth keeping what is my intention what what do I want to get out of this
