you look at the harms that people try to do through social networks, some are not very adaptively adversarial. For example, hate speech. People aren’t getting better at being racist.

One promising approach here is to allow people to flag fake or offensive content while training machine learning systems to spot it automatically.
We see it nowadays with demands to strip internet anonymity in an attempt to force people to suffer severe consequences for what they say online.
