Growth for the sake of growth without concern for the host is the philosophy of a cell gone mad. It’s called cancer. People have become a cancer of the earth for which there is no cure unless by some miracle of understanding we become capable of self-remission.
Growth for the sake of growth still troubles me. It seems unnatural, even perverted.
We have reached a stage where we often pursue growth for growth’s sake, a condition that in medical terminology would simply be called cancer.
Growth, or striving for it, is, I believe, essential to the good health of an enterprise. Deliberately to stop growing is to suffocate.
Enough is the antithesis of unchecked growth because growth encourages mindless consumption and enough requires constant questioning and awareness.
