Any code of data ethics will tell you that you shouldn’t collect data from experimental subjects without informed consent.

Teams must reflect diversity of thought, experiences, race, and background.

Corporations must make their own principles clear.

But the public provides the data under the assumption that we, the public, benefit from it.
